RIP Vinnie Paul

The heavy metal community lost one of its hero’s this past week, Vinnie Paul of Pantera and HELLYEAH.

The cause of death has not been determined at this point.

Our heart’s go out to Paul’s friends and family. Pantera was a pivotal band in heavy metal, one that has influenced modern musicians just as much as Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth, or Testament.

Vinnie joins his brother “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott in the next realm and we can only hope that they are jamming ‘Cowboys From Hell’ as we speak.
